Registering for Summer 2025 is now available. Students should note that ED PS 6/5315 is required to be completed prior to or co-enroll in the course to register for ED PS 6/5316. All students must have a cleared USBE Background Check completed to receive a permission code to enroll. To verify if you have completed a USBE Background Check, please log in to USIMS to verify using the directions found here.
Summer 2025 Registration is completed through the University of Utah Reading Clinic (UURC) website, not the University of Utah registration system. Registration information, training and course dates are available on the UURC Website linked below. All students are expected to fully participate in all required trainings and practicum requirements. Students should note that EDU 6/5316 is listed as EDU 6/5632 at the UURC and will count as EDU 6/5316.

Students should note that they should register for Next Steps EDU 6/5632-030. Students should not register for section 040 as UITE requires a credit/no credit grade, not a letter grade. UITE strongly recommends that students complete the in-person option to ensure that they receive the field practicum experiences necessary for success during the licensure year.
