Justine Hampton
Justine is a doctoral student in the Educational Psychology department, earing her degree in Learning & Cognition. She received both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Spanish teaching. She taught for 6 years in the Salt Lake City School District, where she was a department chair as well as a mentor teacher to incoming professionals and new teachers to her building. She is passionate about vocabulary research, and engaging instructional practices. In her free time, Justine loves to kayak, ski, weight lift, and watch horror movies with friends.
Ana Katz
Ana Katz is a doctoral student at the University of Utah in the Department of Educational Psychology, Reading and Literacy. She earned her M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition from Brigham Young University and her B.A. in English and American History from the University of California, San Diego. She also works as adjunct faculty at Brigham Young University as a professor in Rhetoric and Composition, has taught Secondary English in West Valley City, Utah, and currently works with a Utah based non-profit on creating anti-racist literacy curriculum for local school districts.
Bailey Ondricek
Bailey Ondricek is a doctoral student in the Department of Educational Psychology, Learning and Cognition Program. She has spent the past five years teaching in Davis School District at her very own childhood elementary school with experience primarily in upper-grade gifted education. She holds a Masters of Education as well as a B.S. in Elementary Education with Gifted and Talented and ESL endorsements. Hobbies include long walks with her husband and goldendoodle, crafting, and Golden Girls marathons.
Ashley Raines
Ashely Silcox
Ashley Silcox is a doctoral student in the Department of Educational Psychology, Reading and Literacy. She earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University and her M.Ed. in Reading and Literacy from the University of Utah. She has worked at public, charter, and online schools with students K-6, as well as in school administration, for 8 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, reading, and eating chocolate.
Angela Warnock
Angela Warnock is a doctoral student in the Department of Educational Psychology, Learning and Cognition Program. She has spent the past several years teaching in Provo City School District as a first-grade teacher. She holds a bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Teaching English Language Learners and other endorsements. Hobbies include reading, performing, doing puzzles, and traveling to foreign countries.
