Students who are admitted to the UITE and will be completing their licensure year in the 2023-2024 academic year have certain required courses that they must register for. All students should note that if a course is permission coded they will receive the permission codes at UITE Orientation. Please check your umail for Orientation dates in April 2023. It is mandatory that you attend Orientation as the policies and expectations of the upcoming licensure year are discussed.
Students are reminded that some licensure year courses are specific to your program or even cohort leader. If you put a course in your registration cart, note that you may need to change the course after Orientation to ensure that you register for the right section of a course.
UITE Elementary Licensure Year Courses
Interns
Elementary Interns will take the same courses as the Student Teachers. However, the classes are split between summer and fall semesters due to the Intern Program requirements. Only admitted Elementary Interns are permitted to enroll in these classes in summer semester.
