UITE & College of Education Departments to present at ATE

 

UITE faculty and affiliated faculty from other College of Education Departments will present original scholarship in March at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Association for Teacher Educators (ATE) in New Orleans.  Presentations include: Dr. Kerry Herman (UITE), Mr. Chris Larsen (Granite School District), & Ms. Anne Reese (Granite School District): Bridging Theory and Practice: A University-District Partnership Model for Preparing Instructional Coaches; Dr. Sheree Springer (UITE): Voices of Care in an Internship Experience; Dr. Tracy Dobie (affiliated faculty-ED PS) & Dr. Connor Warner (UITE): Teaching Cases as a Tool to Prepare Teacher Candidates to Advocate for Students; & Dr. Tuba Yilmaz (affiliated faculty-ECS): Fostering Inclusion Through Translanguaging: Enhancing Refugee Students’ Engagement and Academic Success in Turkish EFL Classrooms.
