Elementary Teaching License (Grades K-6)

The undergraduate Elementary program is an interdisciplinary bachelor's degree program granted through the College of Education. Students may choose to complete a Bachelor's of Arts or Bachelor's of Science. Students will be declared as full Elementary majors upon acceptance into the licensure program.

Graduate level Elementary licensure programs are available in conjunction with Master's of Education degrees through either Educational Psychology or Special Education. These programs are designed for students who have already earned a bachelor's degree and wish to earn both an Elementary teaching license and a master's degree at the same time.

If applicants do not submit electronic letters of recommendation through Apply Yourself, then paper letters of recommendation need to be submitted directly to the Elementary Advisor.
